PaPa's Weekend!!

So we are going to look at the pictures backwards.

The weekend ended with us taking my Dads boat out for the first time. Happy Father's Day Dad! I promised him when he was in the hospital I would take the kids out fishing in it.
Ben and Holly were the test subjects to make sure the boat would not sink.

Johnathan did not like Papa's car going in the water, this scared him a lot.

Our hike to Groto Falls.

Johnathan had to look in every mud puddle for tickles (AKA worms).

The hike to Palisade Falls.

What a fun Father's Day Weekend.

Ice Skating

Back before Christmas Sheena seen a picture in a magazine of a family holding hands and iceskating, ever since she has loved the idea. It has been such a wonderful experience, I never knew Aaron could iceskate, and it is so nice to see Aaron smile and have fun. Even Nanny and Papa has got in on the fun. Bozeman has 3 outdoor rinks and 1 indoor. Plus we have on 2 blocks from our house it has been a blast. Thank you Sheena for this.

The kids had so much fun. Sheena was a princess (surprise, surprise), and Johnathan got to be a frog (Aaron just calls him stage prop.) Seeming as Effie was playing Army, Keena and Kara came along they were Scream and Ariel.

The weekend before Holloween we all carved pumpkins!!!

On Holloween we met at Nanny and Papa's to go Trick or Treating..

After filling their pumkins with candy we all went to the Halloween carnival that Sheena's preschool on campus put on.

The Princess Ball

The Princess of our Castle turned 3!!!

There was only one way to celebrate and that was to have a Royal Ball!!!

The princess waited patiently all dress for the ball, on her throne in her throne room.

As all the princesses arrived they applied their glitter and glamor. They even decorated their glasses for their special princess drinks they had with their cake (pink Italian sodas).

Then they all gathered in the throne room with their special guest Cinderella, as Queen Nanny read two princess stories.
After Princess and the Pea we were going to play pop the pea with the green balloons, but the princesses where having fun just playing.

Then Queen Nanny read The Frog prince, and Sheena's very own stage prop played the part of the frog prince. He got his kiss at the end for him being a good sport.
Then it was time for the dragon hunt......which is not good idea for a party of princesses, they didn't want to get dragon blood on their beautiful dresses.
Knight Ethan came and saved the day!!!
Everyone was rewarded with candy.

After a brief break by playing outside, it was the time that birthday princess had been waiting for...PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!

After presents the birthday princess gave a healthly round of hugs.

The grand finale was the beautiful cake princess Holly did such a beautiful job on.

Thank you everyone who contributed to make the princess ball such a special occasion for our little princess.
